How to Get a QR Code That Always Scans
Choose the right size
Print the code at least 2 × 2 cm on visiting cards and 5 × 5 cm or larger on flyers, menus, and counter standees. For posters and banners viewed from a distance, go bigger and use the 2048 px download.
Keep high contrast
Phone cameras read dark codes on light backgrounds best. Brand colours work well as long as the code colour is clearly darker than the background. Avoid light-on-dark or low-contrast combinations.
Leave space around it
Don't let text or images touch the code. The border space setting adds a quiet zone that helps cameras find the code quickly.
